How Al Wijha Real Estate collects, uses and protects personal data on this website, in line with the Personal Data Protection Law.

Last updated: 1 Sep 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by Al Wijha Real Estate (commercial registration 1010445566), a real estate brokerage licensed by the Real Estate General Authority under FAL licence 1200024891, with its head office on Anas bin Malik Rd, Al Malqa, Riyadh. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations, overseen by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA). This policy covers the Arabic and English versions of the site, and requests you send us by phone, email or WhatsApp using the contact details published here.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your request and run the site:

checkContact and enquiry forms: your name, mobile number, email address if given, city, reason for contact and your message.
checkProperty listing requests: your role (owner or broker), property type, location and details, asking price, any photos you upload and, for brokers, licence numbers.
checkMarket brief newsletter: your email address.
checkCalls and messages: what you tell an advisor by phone, email or WhatsApp about your request.
checkBasic analytics and cookies: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and the referring page. We use cookies the site needs to work, such as remembering your language, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

checkTo reply to your enquiry and pass it to the advisor who covers your district and property type.
checkTo assess, inspect and price a property you list with us, and to advertise it once a brokerage agreement is signed.
checkTo send the market brief every other week, if you subscribed.
checkTo keep records of our dealings with you, as required of a licensed brokerage.
checkTo keep the site secure, fix faults and understand which pages are useful.

Legal basis and consent

We rely on your consent when you submit a form, tick the consent box or subscribe to the newsletter. Consent on the contact form covers our team contacting you about that request only.

If you sign a brokerage, marketing or management agreement, we process the data needed to carry it out. We also process data where a law requires it, such as real estate brokerage and advertising rules, and, for site security and basic analytics, where it is necessary for our legitimate interests and does not override your rights.

We do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not use the details of one request to market other services to you without your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out or data we must keep by law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Your data is seen only by:

checkThe Al Wijha advisor handling your request, and colleagues who support them, such as the inspection and photography team.
checkService providers that process data on our behalf under contract, such as email hosting, website hosting and analytics, who may use it only to provide their service to us.
checkGovernment authorities and platforms where the law requires it, such as the Real Estate General Authority for advertising licences, Ejar for lease registration and Najiz for title transfers, and only when you go ahead with that transaction.
checkCourts, regulators or law enforcement where we are legally obliged to disclose it.
checkThe other side of your transaction, such as a buyer, tenant or lender, only with your agreement.

Transfers outside the Kingdom

Some service providers, such as email or analytics services, may store or process data on servers outside Saudi Arabia. Where that happens, we transfer only the minimum data needed, only in the cases permitted by the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations, and with safeguards that keep its protection no lower than it would be in the Kingdom.

How long we keep it

When data is no longer needed, we destroy it securely or remove anything that identifies you.

checkEnquiries that do not lead to an agreement: kept as long as needed to follow up, then destroyed or anonymised.
checkRecords of brokerage, marketing, lease and management agreements: kept for the period required by the regulations on real estate brokerage and commercial records.
checkNewsletter email: kept until you unsubscribe.
checkAnalytics data: kept in aggregated or pseudonymised form for a limited period.

How we protect it

Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it for their work. The site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, our systems are protected by access controls, and our service providers must apply appropriate security measures. Nothing you upload is published before a brokerage agreement is signed and a valid advertising licence is issued.

No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify the competent authority and, where the law requires, you.

Your rights and how to use them

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:

To use any of these rights, email hello@alwijha.sa from the email address you used with us, or quote the mobile number you gave, and say what you are asking for. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we reply within the period set by the regulations. You can unsubscribe from the market brief using the link in any issue.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority.

checkBe told how and why your data is processed, which is the purpose of this policy.
checkAccess the personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy.
checkHave inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date data corrected.
checkHave data we no longer need destroyed, subject to records we must keep by law.
checkWithdraw your consent at any time.
